"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Crush

Yeah, totally adolescent, I know. But crushes are still a part of my life over 30 years later. Of course, as a happily married women, most of my crushes have been on the female of the species. I get that same fluttery feeling of excitement when my crush pays attention to me and I have the same agonies of despair when I decide that they don't really "like like" me. That plucky adolescent. She never really dies.

Lately, my crushes have been largely of the inanimate variety, with one notable exception. Here, for your perusal, approval or perhaps mockery, is a list of my current crushes:

I am totally crushing on...

Shine Junkie Lipgloss- it's by Bed Head and it makes my lips so pretty. Plus it tastes good!

My new glasses- They make me feel so sexy

The pair of black low rise pants I recently purchased- or more specifically, how great my ass looks in them!

My new Grade 7 class- They are wonderful, so far. I think we will have a great year!

Who or what is your crush? C'mon, you know you want to tell me!

I have a crush on my new haircut.

And the girl who cuts my hair isn't half bad. By which I mean that she is SMOKIN'.

Well although this doesn't fall into crush, you will need to read my Blurty tonight, when I update about The. Best. Dream. Ever!

Oh and I think I'm crushing on a guy at work who has this sexy smouldering thing going on (and he fences, so plus), Dougal in "The Magic Roundabout" film and the mayonnaise I have with my chips and onion rings. Not with my fishfingers, because mayo and fish are not good bedfellows.

I am still so proud of the Aly bag. I hope it's in a place of honour in your home! :-)
